I chose mechanical engineering because, from a young age, I was always fascinated by how things work. I would often find myself tearing apart electrical and mechanical devices just to reveal their internal components and understand their workings. Additionally, one of my biggest hobbies growing up was racing four-wheelers, dirt-bikes, or whatever vehicles I could get my hands on. When I first toured ONU I knew I would join the Baja team because I knew it would allow me to develop my skillset as an engineer, and it meshes very well with my hobbies.
